How to light your candle?

Before lighting your scented candle, place it on a heat-resistant surface. Make sure the wick is straight, then light it with a lighter or match.

How to extend the life of your candle?

For each use, let the candle burn for at least 3 to 4 hours. This will melt the wax on the surface and prevent a hollow from forming around the wick. To avoid burns and black marks, never leave the lit wick in contact with the edge of the candle. It is important to ensure that the wick is straight so that the wax can melt evenly.

How to extinguish your candle?

To extinguish your candle: dip the wick into the hot wax using a holder, then straighten it before the wax solidifies. Do not blow out the candle. Before each use, it is best to trim the wick by 5 mm to promote optimal burning.

Does the candle's glass container get hot?

Like all burning candles, the glass container will become hot after a few hours of use. There is no risk to the candle holder or the furniture on which your candle will be placed. However, we recommend waiting for the candle to cool before moving it and keeping it out of reach of children and pets.

NATURALNESS

Our candle contains 100% vegetable wax, but is it natural? Yes! Natural wax can be either mineral or vegetable wax—what's the difference?

Vegetable wax, extracted from plants such as soy or rice, is a biodegradable wax and has the advantage of not releasing any black smoke when burned. Mineral wax, composed of paraffin, is very often used for candle making. It has several advantages: it is widely available, colorless, and odorless. However, it is non-renewable. In a more eco-responsible approach, all the candles in this collection are made from 100% vegetable wax, derived from soy and sunflower.
