SHEA BUTTER
Nourishing
All active ingredients in Panier des Sens products have been selected for their cosmetic quality and their Provence history. One, however, stands out, given its distant origin and its universal benefits.
Shea is a natural active ingredient extracted from the shea nut, fruit of the shea tree, a wild tree endemic to West Africa: Butyrospermum Parkii. This exceptionally-hardy tree can live for up to three centuries! A very rich beige-coloured paste is extracted from the nut and is then worked into butter.
Shea butter is universally-reputed for its nourishing and protective properties.
As it's rich in vitamins A, D, E and F as well as fatty acid, it nourishes skin and helps it better defend itself from dehydration and external aggressors.

Sublimated by the master perfumers from Grasse, they are the core components of each composition. These scented oils are produced from a botanically-specified plant raw material through steam distillation or dry distillation or cold expression.

These treatments, packed full of the goodness of Provence, are inspired, created, manufactured and packaged using short circuits ensuring enhanced traceability.

Our formulas are totally free from ingredients of animal origin, as well as our formulas are never tested on animals, pursuant to European regulations.

In our cold climate in upstate New York it’s hard to keep your hands from drying out. This hand cream is moisturising without being greasy. Love it!

Wow, I received this set as a Christmas gift, and all I can say is I'm impressed! Not to thick, not to thin...Im a bath & body/Lotion, butters addict... This is pretty good stuff! I usually dont like rose scent, its so hard to capture that smell of real roses but this cream nails it. Omg I used just a Lil & it's like being in a rose garden picking the biggest, most beautiful smelling roses around.. now this I like in Rose. It's one of maybe 2 products I've found that nailed it. So just for the rose alone it gets 5 stars... bravo, thank you it really does smell incredible!
