Why do we use vegetable wax in our candles?
We use a wax that is 100% vegetable-based to make our fresh cedar candle. The wax is chosen for its combustion and diffusion qualities, to let the candle’s woody cedar notes shine through distinctively.

Burning a candle.
Before you light your candle, place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Make sure the wick is straight before lighting it with a lighter or a match.
When you first use it, let the candle burn for at least 3 to 4 hours, until all the wax on the surface has become liquid. This will prevent the wax from collapsing and forming a sinkhole around the wick. The wick should never be left to burn against the edge of the candle.
The right way to burn a candle.
To avoid the glass from getting black, check that the wick is straight and centred when snuffing it out. This will ensure that the wax is consumed evenly the next time you use your candle.
Extinguishing a candle.
Never blow on the wick to snuff out your candle. Instead, dip the wick into the hot wax using a small instrument, then straighten it out.
Before each use, trim 5 mm from the wick encourage an optimal burn.
